After 14 years in business, BVC publishing has decided to shut down it’s printed book division and focus solely on our online books.
About 5 years ago we began selling books online, from dedicated websites for our books, and sales of online books now equal or surpass sales of print copies.
Selling print copies of our books is not efficient or environmentally responsible.
Printed books require paper to print, large print runs in order to be affordable, vast amounts of storage space to accommodate the large print runs, and fossil fuels to ship to the buyer by air or ground. In addition, the purchaser must wait 5 or more days to receive their books.
In contrast, online books are delivered immediately and cost little to produce or transmit.
Therefore, BVC Publishing will cease to print or distribute printed books at the end of 2010. In order to clear out our warehouse, we are offering unheard of discounts.
